「awkward」の使い方・・・を教えてください。

辞書では、ぶかっこうな、不器用な、まずい、気の利かない、使いにくい、・・・
などですが、
実際、映画などで使われているのを聞くと、よくわからなくなりました。

実際の会話でどうのように使われているか、わかる方、是非教えてください。
よろしくお願いします。

実際には「変な感じがする」って意味ですかね。

例えば、あまり着心地のよくない服とか着てて"I feel awkward."とか言いますね。

ググってみたらいろんなセンテンスが出てきましたよ。

こんな風に使われてます。

例えば、身内だけの集まりに何故か他人のあなたがそこに参加してしまった時、何となく不自然な気がしている時などにも使うことあります。

私が一番よく聞くのは「気まずい」という意味での使われ方です。

例えばレストランで知らない人やしがらみがある人と同席になってしまって、会話をしようとするけれどはずまなくてしーんとしてしまってあせったとか、
知り合いの悪口を言っていたらその人がすぐそこにいて目が合ってあせったとか。

次によく聞くのは「不器用」という意味で、
He is socially awkward.など言われているのを聞きます。
