Yummy Kitchen is currently looking for line cooks for their upcoming special events. We specialize in making fusion burgers! Responsibilities:
- Help loading, setting up and taking down the food booth at the festival.
- Use kitchen equipments for grilling, pan frying, deep frying and toasting.
- Assemble the burgers carefully and hand them to the customers.
- Capture sales by communicating with guests.
- Reduce any waste from the food booth.
- Make sure the food booth is clean and also keep the food fresh and up to standard. Eliminate any potential hazards.
- Follow the food safety standards and properly store the food or ingredients.
- Ready for any duty at any time due to understaff.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English and Japanese
- Has prior experience working at a restaurant.
- Must be quick and efficient to perform tasks on time.
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in food handling and preparation.
- Attention to detail to ensure high food quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
Licenses/ Certification: Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent.
Job type: Casual
Please note: This is a casual job and we are looking for someone who has a flexible schedule: this includes weekdays and weekends.
Schedule: 6 hour shift, 8 hour shift, 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift
