Yummy Kitchen is currently hiring Kitchen helpers for their upcoming special events. We specialize in making fusion burgers!Responsibilies
- Help loading, setting up and taking down the food booth at the festival.
- Use kitchen equipments for pan frying, deep frying and toasting.
- Cover the line cook's position and help them with cooking when they are on break.
- Assemble the burgers carefully and hand them to the customers.
- Capture sales by communicating with guests.
- Reduce any waste from the food booth.
- Make sure the food booth is clean and also keep the food fresh and up to standard. Eliminate any potential hazards.
- Follow the food safety standards and properly store the food or ingredients.
- Ready for any duty at any time due to understaff.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English and Japanese
- Able to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment
- Has prior experience working at a restaurant. (asset, not required)
- Must be quick and efficient to perform tasks on time.
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in food handling and preparation.
- Attention to detail to ensure high food quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and get along well with others.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler, or equivalent.
Job type: Casual
Please note: This is a casual job and we are looking for someone who has a flexible schedule: this includes weekdays and weekends.
