Job Summary:
As a Sales Associate, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills
for selling Japanese foods and alcohol. You will be responsible for addressing the
customers’ needs and facilitate the sales process from leads to closing the sales. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Your goal will be to increase the sales and maintain our customer
relationships at a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer
needs
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and
social media
• Set up meetings with current and potential customers, prepare and deliver
appropriate presentations on products and services.
• Maintain business relationships with current customers
• Order entry and prepare invoices for delivery and shipping
• Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products, work
with operations to know when shipments are arriving
• Handle returns and complaints from customers
• Comply with inventory control and Quality Assurance procedures
• Cooperate with Accounting to assure collection of accounts receivables and
communicate with customers to ensure prompt payment
• Participate in Company events and trade shows
• Submit Monthly Sales Activity Report to management.
Qualifications:
• Proven work experience as a Sales Associate, Restaurant Server or similar role
• Interest in foods and beverages would be an asset
• Bilingual, French and English, Japanese and/Chinese Preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Basic Math Skills
• Fast learner, solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
